Anleitung

Mahjongg is a game where insight, memory and luck are needed to play it well. Advanced players know, but you've got to see for yourself that... this game is very addictive! Therefore it was an obvious choice for communists who wanted to make the entire nation addicted to them!
The game is played with special tiles which are piled in a very specific way. Aim of the game is to get rid of the pile. Removing tiles is done by selecting two tiles which belong to the same quartet and are free as well. If this is done correct the tiles will be removed and a next pair can be chosen.
A tile is free if no other tile borders on at least one of the two long sides of this tile. Sounds difficult? It isn't, you'll get the hang of it in no time.
There is a total of thirty-six quartets of which thirty-four quartets consist of equal tiles. The other two quartets are shown here. Originally they represented the four seasons and flowers, respectively. But in a communist version they represent different military ranks, flags, communist symbolism, etc.
